HISTORY

Paragon International is a pioneer in the development and distribution of oral health training products.  We began our journey in 1990, inventing the first plush oral health education products.  Originally marketed under the Zoo Animal Teaching Aids® brand name our Star Smiles™ and Plak Posse™ product lines are exported worldwide.  We take great pride in originating things that have served so many and pledge to continue to produce quality, purposeful products.

People that have a purpose in life are lucky:  Our purpose is to improve the life of others as an advocate for great oral health.  Although oral health is a well worn subject, we are optimistic…start young and make it fun.

Our history tells us that nothing is impossible and our mission is to improve the wellbeing of millions of families worldwide.

The surgeon general has reported that oral health is directly related to overall physical health and learning capacity.  Tooth decay is the single most common chronic childhood disease in North America.  The opportunity to accomplish our mission abounds.

Paragon keeps in step with our times; we know the significance of our mission and the importance of reaching underserved individuals.  That is why we contribute annually to humanitarian programs around the world that share our purpose and mission.

We strive to infuse our products with creativeness, function, quality, and uniqueness.  We use no child labor and carefully select vendors with which we work.  Through a clever perspective and our own eclectic designs we passionately serve our customers.
