StarSmilez® began in 1990 with our first group of oral health education personalities, which originally were marketed under the brand name “Zoo Animal Teaching Aids®.” StarSmilez® children’s oral health toys now are distributed throughout the U.S. and worldwide. We take great pride in creating products that have helped so many children to develop good oral health habits, and we pledge to continue to produce quality, purposeful products for oral health professionals, educators, parents and others to help them teach children the importance of healthy, clean teeth

Our purpose is to improve the lives of children as advocates for great oral health, and our mission is to improve the wellbeing of millions of families worldwide. The Surgeon General David Satcher reported that oral health is directly related to overall physical health and learning capacity, and acknowledges that tooth decay is the single most common chronic childhood disease in North America
We know the significance of our mission and the importance of reaching underserved individuals, which is one of the reasons that we partner with humanitarian programs worldwide such as Special Olympics Special Smiles, Direct Relief, and Children’s Health Fund, that share our ideals.
We infuse our plush teaching toys with quality and creativity, and select vendors whose ideals are similar to ours. It is through our unique, eclectic designs that we passionately serve our customers because we make tooth brushing and tooth care fun for children and parents, and the professional dental providers who serve them.
